EVRAZ Holding’s Best Workers Get Awards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 3, 2016. EVRAZ Holding Ural’s EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) and EVRAZ Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise (KGOK) recently held a professional skills contest among its managerial staff, the company press service reports.
The contest was coordinated in several stages in the course of three months. The competition rounds aimed to reveal the contestants’ team leadership qualities, purposefulness, and systemic thinking. This was the first time that the two finalist teams - the ones from NTMK and KGOK - were both from EVRAZ Holding’s Ural branch.
At EVRAZ NTMK, the first prize went to the Tired Wheel Department’s shift foreman Dmitri Khorzeyev, the second one to head of ball-rolling mill section at Heavy Milling Department Denis Zamurayev, and the bronze went to Yakov Baranov, Senior Analyst of Investment Portfolio Management Department.
Also, the first, second, and third prizes were awarded to EVRAZ KGOK’s head of industrial grid section at Energy Department Vladislav Novikov, instrumentation panel operator at the plant’s power station’s steam turbines Anatoly Patrikeyev, and Senior Repairman at Clotting Department Dmitri Furmanenko, respectively.
