Ural Vagon Zavod Involved in Social Partnership

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 28, 2016. Director-General of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Omsktransmash was given a special certificate for his impressive contribution to social partnership projects on the day the city of Omsk celebrated its 300th foundation anniversary. The certificate was presented to the executive by Mayor Vyacheslav Dvorakovsky, Chair of Omsk Trade Union Federation Sergei Moiseenko, and President of Omsk Region Employers’ Union Vladimir Berezovsky.
The corporation’s press service reports the awarding ceremony took place during the Social Partnership: Industrial Enterprises’ Experience Forum in Omsk on July 21; the forum was part of the city anniversary celebrations. OBORONPROF, the transport machine-builders’ trade union, received a certificate as well.
‘Both the local and the national governments have acknowledged Omsktransmash’s CSR efforts a number of times in the past. The company won the first prize in the 9th Best Social Partner Contest last year, for example, and received an honorary diploma from Russia’s Industry & Trade Ministry, Russia’s Machine-Builders’ Union, and the All-Russian Defense Industry Workers’ Trade Union,’ the press service says.
