22 June 2016 (13:43)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 22, 2016. Ural Railcar Building Design Office (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) had three of its railcar repair depots certified, the company press service reports.

The depots are located in Magnitogorsk, Inskaya, and Leninsk-Kuznetsky. These are the special divisions of Russia’s largest depot network Railcar Repair Company 1, whose output comes to 100,000 fixed railcars a year.

The certification means the depots can now deal in repairs of Ural Vagon Zavod’s innovative 12-196-01 and 18-194-1 makes (freight capacity increased to 25,000 kg, time between repairs increased to 500,000 km) and issue official repair certificates. The depots are also officially allowed to repair the 12-196-01 makes and their components.
