UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 9, 2015. Works by ChTPZ Group Training Center‘s students will be presented at the 3d Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art, the company press service reports.

‘The students‘ graphic works will serve as exhibits during the Art Residences Program at the Biennial. Additionally, a workshop by a Saint Petersburg-based artist Alexander Morozov was held on the premises of the company's Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant,‘ the press service says.

Twenty students and faculty members joined the artist to do some bird-watching and put the birds' trajectory down on paper in the form of sketches. Ten minutes were allocated per every sketch. At the close of the workshop, all the participants created a 15-meter-long drawing on tracing paper and signed the work.

‘Creative workshops are something that goes very well with the company philosophy, they help our prospective metallurgical workers to open up their creative thinking potential and therefore deal more efficiently with production challenges,‘ says Training Center‘s heaad Nikolai Desyatov.

Art Residences is a key feature of this year‘s Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art, comprising artists‘ personal projects created in real-life industrial environments. This year, twelve cities based in the Urals are taking part in the event.
