October 2, 2014. Tech study clubs are now welcoming all the schoolchildren at ChTPZ Group’s Training Center in Pervouralsk, the company’s press service reports.
‘Any school student can now attend one of our seven clubs – technical drawing, computer graphics, robotics, mechatronics, chemistry, numerical control machine programming, simulation, electric engineering, and electronics – free of charge. The main idea is to revive the students’ interest in engineering disciplines. Lessons will be given by the Training Center’s qualified teachers,’ the company says.
‘This technical creativity for children is meant to help the students of 5th-9th grades to find out what they have a predilection for, to make decisions about their future jobs, and to develop their creative thinking and logical skills. This is the first step on the way to creating the Ural Engineering School, a program for continuous engineering training that will encompass general, secondary, vocational, higher, and additional professional education levels,’ says ChTPZ Group Training Center’s head Nikolai Desyatov.
ChTPZ Group is taking part in the creation of the Ural Engineering School. For one, a job counseling office for people interested in technical jobs will be set up on the premises of the Group’s Training Center or at one of Pervouralsk schools.
