Uralvagonzavod, UFU sign cooperation agreement

March 5, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Executive Director Vladimir Roschupkin and Rector of Ural Federal University Viktor Koksharov signed a cooperation agreement on continuous education at Sverdlovsk Region Union of Industrialists & Employers Vocational Education & Labor Resources Committee meeting.
Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service says that, according to the paper, the two parties will work together in the fields of education, science, production, successive training programs for tech workers, new educational technologies, and scientific research.
Every year, Uralvagonzavod is to gauge its long- and medium-term needs and to decide on the quality and quantity of trained cadre the company needs. The company’s partners will thus be able to educate the future and existing employees using their accumulated resources and options.
The corporation’s head plant has already looked into its current human resources potential, and it was therefore decided to focus on training cadre in design engineering for automated production facilities, manufacturing of welded frames, and ferrous and non-ferrous foundry.
College students and company workers who are interested in further professional growth are directed to Ural Federal University’s member organizations and to Uralvagonzavod Corporate University for continuous professional development programs.
