November 24, 2014. Uraltransmash (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) organized some festive events in celebration of Rocket Troops & Artillery Day.
According to the corporation’s press service, the company’s Director-General Alexei Nosov announced during his address that he had informed Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu of the plant’s having already fulfilled the three-year contract for the production and delivery of 152-mm self-propelled 2S19M2 howitzers on October 10.
‘This is the accomplishment that was made possible thanks to the entire team: managers, workers, and foremen. The plant keeps growing, as does the demand for its produce. Despite these trying economic circumstances, we’ve kept most of our cadre and manage to prove our produce’s great quality. Our conscientious and confident work brings us to the special 200th anniversary of the year the plant was founded that we’ll celebrate in 2017,’ Nosov said.
Uraltransmash’s best employees received honorary certificates and thank-you letters from the Russian Federation Defense Ministry, Industry & Trade Ministry, Sverdlovsk Region Government, Sverdlovsk Region Industry & Science Ministry, Sverdlovsk Region division of Russia’s Union of Machine-Builders, and Yekaterinburg council for their work achievements and contribution to industry development.
