Uralvagonzavod to take part in Unknown Tankprom Exhibition

October 10, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Corporation is going to take part in an exhibition called The Unknown Tankprom: The Tank Industry in the National Economy & Human Life; the corporation will present its exhibits there, the company’s press service reports.
The opening ceremony will take place at the State Central Museum of Modern Russian History in Moscow on October 11.
The exhibits will include Uralvagonzavod’s freight carriages that were made in the sixties, the seventies, and the eighties and were featured at the Exhibition of National Economy Achievements (VDNKh) at the time. The Polytechnic Museum will display working models of a coal loader and an oil-pumping machine that date back to the early thirties; the models of Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant’s first tractors, Vityaz two-section full-track carrier, and Mars rover from the Space Research Institute will also be presented at the exhibition.
Visitors to the event will be able to see the unique albums with drawing of the first Russian certified freight carriages that date back to the late 19th and the early 20th century. The numerous awards and certification documents awarded to the tank industry enterprises’ produce since then prove the great quality of this produce.
