Uralvagonzavod Corporation member enterprises to present their products at Unknown Tankprom

September 10, 2014. The member enterprises of Uralvagonzavod Corporation are going to present their produce at Unknown Tankprom, a tank industry exhibition, the corporation’s press service reports.
Six makes of tractors by ChTZ Uraltrac and a model of one of the world’s first combine machine meant for coal mining as well as the parts of a special beater/coal pulverizing mill made by Omsktransmash have already been handed over to the workers of Uralvagonzavod Corporation Exhibition Center.
‘These exhibits, as well as many other ones manufactured by the corporation member enterprises, will be displayed at the Unknown Tankprom – Tank Industry in National Economy & One’s Life Exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the Museum of Contemporary Russian History in Moscow in October-December 2014,’ the corporation’s press service says.
The exhibition is being coordinated by the employees of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation Exhibition Center. This event is going to become another step on the way to creating the Tankprom Museum that is expected to open in Nizhniy Tagil by 2020 (the year of the Russian tank industry’s centennial anniversary).
The exhibition will comprise photographs, certificates, medals, models of tanks, their parts and life-size samples awarded to and made by such member enterprises of the corporation as Uralvagonzavod (Nizhniy Tagil), ChTZ Uraltrac (Chelyabinsk), Omsk Transport Machine-Building Plant (Omsk), Uralcryomash (Nizhniy Tagil), Uraltransmash (Yekaterinburg), VNIITransmash (Saint Petersburg), UralNITI (Yekaterinburg), and Central Railway Transport Museum (Saint Petersburg).
