October 1, 2014. The Russian Federation Government will direct 21.3m RUR from the federal budget funds to the development of culture and tourism in Sverdlovsk Region, the Cabinet’s press service reports.

The funds will be allocated for purchase of special equipment for local cultural establishments, for providing the municipal cultural venues with special-purpose motorized vehicles, and for preservation of historic landmarks in the large, medium-sized, and small cities and towns in the area. The money will also be used for the development of the most successful cultural and tourist centers.

All in all, the Russian Federation Government provided 2.7bn RUR from the federal budget funds to support and develop culture and tourism in different parts of the country.
