Russia Arms Expo Wins Event Tourism Contest

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 17, 2016. The international Russia Arms Expo Forum - an annual event coordinated by Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation - won the first prize as Business Project in the 4th All-Russian Event Tourism Contest.
According to the company press service, the contest was part of the 5th All-Russian Russian Open Event Expo and Tourism Week at Yugra Expo in Khanty-Mansiysk. The exhibition and fair were organized by Yugra Government, with Russia’s Culture Ministry’s support.
Russian Open Event Expo is held on a yearly basis to present the national travel opportunities for both Russian and foreign tourists and sightseers, promote the tourist industry’s development, and bring into the limelight the local tourist and ethnographic landmarks.
This year’s fair featured over 230 projects from fifty Russian federal constituencies, with a focus on culture and educational travel, folk traditions, military memorial sites, and sports/active lifestyle opportunities.
