University Technological Park gets on the national investment program

August 22, 2014. University Technological Park was approved to join the national special-purpose investment program for 2014-2016, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policies Department reports.

The future technopolitan area will host a singe scientific and educational cluster (the new campus of Ural Federal University and University High Technologies Park, an industrial park, a launching zone, and an industrial zone).

The cost of the first construction stage is estimated at 1.5bn RUR, including 1bn RUR for the construction of the building of the technological center and some 500m RUR for the creation of the engineering infrastructure.

651m RUR will be supplied from the national budget over the next two years and slightly over 845m RUR will be provided from Sverdlovsk Region budget.

The first and second tiers of the building are already being put up; builders are also working on external supply lines, storm sewage systems, water supply network, and driveways and parking lots. 9,000 sq m of basement facilities have already been completed so far.
