ChTZ to commission HEC-1250

April 3, 2014. The metal-cutting unit HEC-1250 was assembled and commissioned at Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation).
The corporation's press service reports that block cases for modern engines will be produced with the help of this unit.
'This giant is eight by eight meters big and over four meters high. The supervised installation was carried out by the representatives of the German company Heckert Mattias Leitner and Michael Priglinger,' the message says.
This is not the last gigantic mill that will arrive at the plant's advanced technologies site within the framework of the technical upgrades program.
According to Deputy Head of the Advanced Technologies Production Department Dmitri Dergalev, the new equipment is operated by experts with higher and vocational education or blue-collar workers with skills in many kinds of jobs who have plenty of experience.
