Uralvagonzavod looks at innovation efforts in Q1 2013

April 25, 2013. Uralvagonzavod came up with a report on the results of all innovational activity in the company in the first quarter of 2013. In these three months, workers from Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s head plant submitted 69 improvement proposals, 52 of which have actually been incorporated into the production process. Workers from 30 different divisions of the company took part in this improvement effort, and the target figures for the amount of this innovational activity were met 100%, the corporation’s press service reports.

The actual economic effect thus came to 7.6bn RUR, including the material resource savings: 24.7 tons of ferrous metals, 5,582,900 kilowatt-hours worth of electric power, and 11,643,600 m3 of pressurized air. Besides, the labor-intensity dropped by 1,564 man-hours.

Those of Uralvagonzavod workers who took a very active part in the introduction and development of improvement proposals will be given money prizes. What is more, the employees who took care to promote all innovational activity at the plant and those who dealt in expert examinations and analytical work, looked for new data and did all the economic calculations will also be awarded.
