Yekaterinburg Budget Revenues Exceed 32.6bn RUR in 2012

April 19, 2013. The city budget’s revenues amounted to 32.686bn RUR last year, while the spending came to 32.191bn RUR. Most of the inflow (19.833bn RUR, or 60.7%) came from the tax and non-tax revenues, with another 12.91bn RUR (39.3%) allocated from Sverdlovsk Region and federal budgets, Yekaterinburg Council press service refers to a report on Yekaterinburg budget for 2012 as stating.

According to Head of Yekaterinburg Council Finance Department Andrei Koryukov, the budget spending will be quite socially responsible this year, just like last year, and will fully back the responsibilities of the local government.

The better share of the budget spending (62.3%) was directed to the social responsibility projects last year, which actually exceeded the spending on a year earlier. Most of the specific spending items had to do with education (43.8%), underground and road construction (13.2%), communal housing services (13.6%), and healthcare (10.6%).
