March 14, 2013. Urals’ Repairs & Building Unit (RSKU), Uralvagonzavod’s former repairs division, has now become a fully independent company. The organization is now ready to enter Nizhniy Tagil building market, Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s press service reports.

One year ago, Uralvagonzavod’s division was reorganized into a close joint-stock company and became legally and economically independent. RSKU is now a part of UVZ and the general contractor for all the repair and building jobs at the corporation’s head plant. However, now it also offers some new kinds of building jobs to customers. RSKU is also taking part in country-wide programs on industrial construction and in the President’s housing construction program. The company’s current projects involve building a new production department, putting up some filtering facilities at Uralvagonzavod, and housing construction. It is also involved in a project on building a multi-storey apartment building in Dzerzhnisky District of Nizhniy Tagil, the press service states.

RSKU is already prepared to offer participatory share construction options to the residents of Dzerzhnisky District, so that the latter can get new homes in buildings that can boast the latest architectural advances, technologies, and materials. The company is mastering new construction methods, including the Cheboksar one, based on a combination of metal frames with solid pieces. This technology is actually quite popular in Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk. Thanks to the use of things like columns and cross beams, as many as three storeys can be put up every month. The apartments don’t have any bearing walls, so the owners can easily have the layout changed and even unite two neighboring apartments. The apartments will be commissioned when they are completely finished on the inside with the most up-to-date interior materials. In the future, the new technologies and materials will result in the housing that offers outstanding comfort and is affordable for a family with any income.
