March 01, 2013. ChTPZ Group’s educational project known as the Future of White Metallurgy won in an independent Russian HR Brand 2012 Prize in the Region category for its outstanding work on the company’s reputation as an employer. The pipe manufacturing company’s achievements in the field of improving the popularity of blue-collar jobs and its positive impact on the business results were also awarded a special Business Prospects Prize by the contest partner MTS.
‘Our professional community’s great estimate of our educational program is both pleasing and prestigious. This public-private partnership project involving ChTPZ Group and Sverdlovsk Region Government was implemented on the premises of Pervouralsk Metallurgical Vocational School and is targeted at young men and women who will join the country’s metallurgical enterprises tomorrow, including the enterprises belonging to our company,’ the Future of White Metallurgy Project Manager Valentin Tazetdinov said at the awarding ceremony.
‘We put up a most up-to-date vocational school, and within one year of its operation, five times more applicants have to compete for the enrollment than at the start. Most of the students are actually at the army-drafting age, so for their sake we coordinated an opportunity for them to serve in one and the same regiment, so the first group has been serving in the village of Gorny Shchit in Sverdlovsk Region for eight months now. We keep in touch with them and are expecting them to come to our company after their term in the army is over. We take pride in educating people who speak the same language as we do and who are highly skilled professionals as well as the individuals who will be proud of their profession and their country. We are quite happy to share our experience with everyone who takes an interest. After all, this is all about very young people, that is, this is all about Russia’s future,’ he added.
