Ural Airlines’ Passenger Turnover Grows 30% in August

Ural Airlines looked into its performance results in August 2012. The company flew 427,612 passengers last month, which is 31% more than in August 2011. All in all, 2,335,489 passengers have used the airline’s services since the start of the year. On August 14, Ural Airlines checked in its 2,000,000th passenger, the airline’s press service reports.

In August 2012, Ural Airlines operated 2,736 flights (23% more than in August 2011). This included 1,287 international flights, 944 domestic flights, and 505 flights around the CIS. The actual passenger turnover came to 1,127,971,000 passenger-kilometers in August 2012, which is 26% higher than a year earlier.

All in all, Ural Airlines have operated 17,518 flights since the beginning of the year, including 7,488 international flights, 6,391 domestic flights, and 3,639 flights around the CIS. The company’s passenger traffic rose by 42% in the eight months of 2012 and came to 6,301,914,000 passenger-kilometers. Also, 7,246,481 kilos worth of cargo and 1,118,449 kilos worth of mail was transported.
