Ural Airlines Flies 30% More Passengers in June

Ural Airlines keeps on flying increasingly more passengers and freight. Since the start of the year, nearly 1.5m people have flown with this airline, the company’s press service reports.

Ural Airlines came up with a production performance report for June 2012. 362,881 passengers used the company’s services last month, which is 30% more than in June 2011. All in all, 1,499,996 people have flown with the air carrier since the beginning of the year.

In June 2012, Ural Airlines operated 2,579 flights (23 more than a year earlier), including 1,261 international flights, 830 domestic flights, and 488 flights around the CIS. The actual passenger turnover came to 964,141,000 passenger-kilometers, which is 28% better than in 2011.

Since the beginning of the year, Ural Airlines has operated 12,103 flights, including 4,935 international ones, 4,547 domestic ones, and 2,621 flights around the CIS. Ural Airlines’ passenger traffic rose by 51% in six months of 2012. The company’s total passenger turnover came to 4,079,566,000 passenger-kilometers in the six months of 2012. 5,257,466 kilos worth of freight and 775,301 kilos worth of mail has been transferred over this period.
