Customer places complaint against VympelCom

OAO VympelCom actually insists that no violations were involved in providing Internet access to Ivan Kadochnikov, a lawyer and one of the company’s Yekaterinburg-based customers.

‘Our company adheres strictly to all the terms of company-customer agreements. If Mr. Kadochnikov pays for the speed of 25 Mb per second, the Internet connection is provided at exactly this speed. We are going to look into Ivan Kadochnikov’s application at once. The company is going to check the access speed on his computer. If this turns out to be true that the actual speed does not coincide with the declared one, VympelCom will definitely fix the problem. We intend to inform the public and the media of the results of the investigation,’ says OAO VympelCom Yekaterinburg branch’s PR expert Platon Mamatov.

Now Ivan Kadochnikov claims that the company failed to provide him with the exact services stated in their agreement, namely, the connection speed was much lower than the one he paid for. The lawyer asked the Internet provider for the actual data on the Internet connection speed he has been getting under the existing agreement.
