Governor Yurevitch calls for business protection

26 May 2010 (14:28)

Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Mikhail Yurevitch asked the region’s Ministry for Economic Development to pay more attention to the local entrepreneurs’ applications.

The Governor explained it was important to look more carefully into the businessmen’s complaints regarding the obstacles the municipal authorities appear to create for them.

‘We have to register and investigate every case where an entrepreneur’s rights are violated. If an applicant’s complaint is grounded and that the applicant is a law-abiding citizen, we’ll have to interfere. We also need to keep track of the number of such applications in order to react promptly if these problems occur on a large scale in some city or town of Chelyabinsk Region’ he said.

The Governor encouraged the local business community to seek protection of their rights through Chelyabinsk Region Ministry for Economic Development’s Business Support & Development Department via a hot line number +7 (351) 263-24-94, e-mail mbiz4@ke.uu.ru, or website www.gubernator74.ru.
