Sinara vows to complete Central Stadium in six months
13 July 2009 (08:15)
‘Rusgrad has not been acting as the customer of Yekaterinburg’s Central Stadium reconstruction project since January 2009. Over 50% of all the jobs have been completed by now, with Sinara Group investing a total of 1.3 billion RUR into the project,’ Sinara Group’s PR center explained to an UrBC reporter.
Meanwhile, Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court is looking into the claim laid by Rusgrad Construction Company against Central Stadium; the plaintiff wants to be paid over 23.72 million RUR. So far, it has been decided in the course of the preliminary hearing that the next meeting would take place on July 16, 2009.
Sinara Group was actually unable to explain why their former customer chose to sue them.
‘At the moment, we are finishing the facades and getting ready to start working on the interior and the assembling of all the utilities. We still need about 1.2 billion RUR worth of investments, and the project will get finished within six months of getting all the financing we need,’ Sinara Group claims.
As a matter of fact, at the start of the project the deadline was set for June 16, 2009, in time for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Yekaterinburg.
