Ural Airlines flies 23% more passengers in January-July 2008

Ural Airlines came up with a performance report for January-July 2008 and for the seventh month of the year.
The airline’s aircraft operated 7,091 flights between January 1, 2008 and July 31, 2008, which was 16% better than a year earlier; the figures include 2,286 international flights (57% more than in January-July 2007), 4,115 domestic flights (1% more than in January-July 2007), and 616 flights within the CIS (27% more than in January-July 2007).
1,352 flights were operated by the company in July 2008 (which was 9% better than a year earlier), including 551 international flights, 676 domestic flights, and 112 flights within the CIS. This was, respectively, 58% more, 15% less, and 44% more than in July 2007.
The carrier rendered its services to 823,611 passengers in January-July 2008 (which is 23% better than a year earlier), including 349,287 people who used the carrier’s international flights, 408,838 people who used domestic flights, and 65,486 passengers who used flights within the CIS. This was, respectively, 62%, 1%, and 34% more than in January-July 2007.
In July 2008, the better part of passengers (89,945 people) used the airline’s international flights (48% more than in July 2007), 79,277 people used domestic flights (9% less than a year earlier), and 14,264 people used the flights within the CIS (44% more than in July 2007). The airline flew 183,486 passengers in July 2008 altogether, which exceeded the figures for a year earlier by 16%.
In addition to flying its passengers, Ural Airlines handled 3,032 tons of cargo and 364 tons of mail in January-July 2008, which was 7% and 12% better than in January-July 2007. In July 2008, 406 tons of cargo and 48 tons of mail were handled by the carrier, which was, respectively, 8% more and 12% less than in a year earlier.
