Experts from Ural Airlines’ Economic Planning Department evaluated the results of the company’s activity in July 2007
The carrier performed 1,211 flights on July 1-31, 2007, including 344 international ones, 789 domestic ones, and 78 flights made within the CIS. The total number of flights exceeds that for July 1-31, 2006 by 7%.
Ural Airlines flew almost 10,000 more passengers than had originally been planned, with round about 160,000 people using the airline this July (which is 20% better than a year earlier). Some 90,000 passengers used the company’s domestic flights and 60,000 people used the carrier to fly abroad.
The carrier handled over 370,000 kilograms of cargo and 55,000 kilograms of mail in July 2007, which exceeds the figures for July 2006 by 15% and 68%, respectively.
The passenger load rose by 6% compared to a year earlier and reached 83%. The revenue load amounted to approximately 74%, which is 4% better than in July 2007, the carrier’s press officer reports.
