Transformer stolen from substation belonging to Troitsk Electrical Networks

A crime connected with the stealing of non-ferrous metals occurred on the premises of a substation belonging to Troitsk Electrical Networks (part of ChelyabEnergo).
As the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative, the unknown offenders burgled into the substation located in the village of Stepnoye in the dead of night; they jettisoned the fuel in the transformer and stolen it as it had impressive non-ferrous metal content. The damage (not considering the restoration work to be done) is assessed as coming to 58,000 RUR.
The technicians of ChelyabEnergo reported the transformer stolen to the police; the criminals are now being searched for.
