As a step in realization of nature-conservative measures program, Territorialnaya Generiruyushchaya Kompaniya # 10 JSC (TGK-10) is going to invest 9.3 million RUR into re-equipment of 9 boilers at Chelyabinsk State District Power Plant.

During the last few years, the power stations of TGK-10 Chelyabinsk branch have been introducing the new method of gas cycling inside of the boiler furnace. Implementation of this method reduces emission of nitric oxides. Within 2005, this method of gas burning was introduced to three boilers of Chelyabinsk State District Power Plant.

TGK-10 is also going to proceed with modernization of ash removing system at Argayashskaya Heat Power Plant. By means of introduction of up-to-date ash catchers and emulsifiers, the ash and sulfurous anhydride emissions are being significantly diminished. Thus, the ash handling efficiency is running up to 99.6%. During 2005, the company spent about 4 million RUR on the installation of four ring-type emulsifiers at the 9th boiler of Argayashskaya Heat Power Plant. In 2006, the investments into modernization of the 8th boiler of Argayashskaya Heat Power Plant will come to 15.5 million RUR. These investments include 4 million RUR supplied by Chelyabinsk Regional Government within the framework of the state environmental program for 2006 – 2010.

During 2006 – 2007, the 8th boiler of Argayashskaya Heat Power Plant will be converted to gas burning that will result in reducing annual coal ash emission by 2,794 tons. During 2007–2008, the ring type emulsifiers will be installed at the 4th 9th boiler of Argayashskaya Heat Power Plant.
