Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler Goes Into Self-Isolation After Press Secretary Tests Positive

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, April 10, 2020. Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler went into self-isolation in his office; he’ll have to spend the next few days there after it transpired he came in close contact with someone who tested positive for the novel coronavirus; the person in question is the governor’s press secretary Sergey Zyus.

Governor Teksler informed the press about the new format he’ll be working in. The governor doesn’t leave his office now and does all the work through video conferencing. The reporters were addressed in the same (online) manner. According to preliminary bits of information, Governor Teksler has tested negative and feels healthy, Interfax reports.

Sergey Zeus started self-isolating on April 6, after he tested positive for COVID-19 in the course of a routine check. The governor’s press secretary hasn’t recently traveled abroad or came in contact with those who have.
