ChelPipe Group Installs Thermal Cameras on Site to Fight COVID-19
7 April 2020 (09:02)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 7, 2020. ChelPipe Group installed advanced automatic thermal cameras on site as part of its program to maintain workers’ health and safety and reduce the risks of COVID-19 spreading further.
Nine thermal cameras got insulted at the Group’s member enterprise Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) and four cameras arrived at Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe). The appliances can take the temperature of several people simultaneously, which makes it possible to ensure social distancing at entry checkpoints.
Additionally, special navigation signs and markings have been placed on the floors of queue-prone areas, which helps the workers keep the recommended one-meter distance.
ChelPipe Group was among the first companies to adopt a set of preventive measures and to take a number of steps at offices and production sites to help contain the spread of COVID-19, ChelPipe’s PR Group reports.
