UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 30, 2019. ChelPipe Group supplied 170,000 kg of weld-less, hot-deformed pipes (diameter: 57 mm to 325 mm; wall thickness: 4 mm to 8 mm) to Titan Group of companies. Titan Group is based in Russia and deals in petrochemicals.

According to ChelPipe Group’s press service, the pipes that have been manufactured at Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) will be used for the reconstruction of the iso-propyl benzene production facility at Omsk Caoutchouc (Titan Group’s key enterprise). The new equipment will make the iso-propyl benzene production process safe and environmentally friendly, will ensure a drop in raw stuffs and energy resource spending, and will bring the prime cost down as well.

‘ChelPipe Group has a diversified client portfolio and supplies its produce to customers in various industrial sectors, including the petrochemical industry. ChelPipe Group Warehouse supplied some 6,000,000 kg of goods to companies in the petrochemical sector last year alone,’ says the warehouse director Alexei Smirnov.

ChelPipe Group Warehouse and Titan Group/Omsk Caoutchouc have been partners since 2010; ChelPipe Group’s pipes were used for retooling and building Titan Group’s key facilities.
