UrBC, Magnitogorsk, February 26, 2020. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) is going to present its produce at the construction exhibition UzBuild 2020 that opens in Tashkent today, MMK’s Information & PR Department reports.

‘MMK takes part in this international event on a regular basis; UzBuild Exhibition has been around since 1998. Uzbekistan is a very special market for the company, responsible for nearly 30% of all our sales to customers in the CIS member states and 82% of our sales to customers in Central Asia. In 2019, MMK supplied some 430,000,000 kg of metal goods to Uzbekistan, which was the second largest amount on the CIS market (Kazakhstan being our largest market in the region). Most of the metal produce goes to Uzbekistan’s construction companies. Besides, quite a bit goes to pipe manufacturers and UzAuto Motors, which buys automobile body sheets,’ the company says.

MMK intends to present a wide range of metal products at UzBuild 2020, with a special focus on building materials: hot- and cold-rolled steel sheets, profiled section steel, zinc-coated rolled goods, metal products with polymeric coating, and metalware made at MMK-METIZ.
