UrBC, Magnitogorsk, October 19, 2017. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) is taking part in the International WorldBuild Baku 2017 Exhibition in Azerbaijan, MMK Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.

‘Azerbaijan has always been one of MMK’s key customers located within the CIS. Last year, the plant supplied over 150,000,000 kg of metal goods to the country. MMK’s exhibition stand features a wide range of produce on offer, mostly the kind suitable for construction purposes such as section iron, hot- and cold-rolled steel sheets, zinc-coated rolled goods, rolled products with polymeric coating, and metal fittings,’ the Department says.

MMK has launched several highly productive, up-to-date equipment units in the last few years and can now make competitive produce for the building industry. This new equipment includes three highly efficient automated section rolling mills, three hot-dip-galvanizing units, two polymeric coating units, and cold-roll Mill 2000 (comprising a hot-dip-galvanizing unit and a continuous annealing aggregate/hot-dip-galvanizing unit). MMK also launched yet another hot-dip-galvanizing unit in the summer of 2017 (capacity: 360,000,000 kg of produce a year). The unit is meant for making zinc-coated products for the building industry.

WorldBuild Baku is one of the most important and largest-scale professional events for the Caspian states’ architectural, building, design, and remodeling industries.
