UrBC, Magnitogorsk, December 12, 2019. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) and G.I. Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University are going to take part in the 6th annual all-Russian VuzPromExpo 2019 in Moscow (opening today), MMK’s Information & PR Department reports.
During the exhibition, the plant will be presenting a joint project on setting up a hi tech production facility that MMK is working on in collaboration with G.I. Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University.
‘The enterprise and the university are working to set up a hi tech production facility for the innovative process of making import-substituting, ultra-cold-proof, nano-structured rolled metal sheets. The project gets co-funded by the state, since MMK won the Russian Education & Science Ministry’s open tender procedure, with subsidies allocated to comprehensive projects on hi tech production facilities that involve Russian colleges. This means MMK and MSTU will be presenting the results of their work on this project,’ MMK says.
The 6th annual all-Russian VuzPromExpo 2019 gets coordinated by Russia’s Education & Science Ministry at ExpoCenter in Moscow on December 11-12. Over a hundred industrial enterprises, more than a hundred colleges, and forty engineering centers, all of which will be presenting the successful outcomes of their joint research projects and tech solutions within the framework of the ministry-funded Federal Programs, are contributing to the exhibition. This year’s event is themed as Science. Education. Economy.
