UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 12, 2019. EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ NTMK) supplied more than 900,000 kg of H-beams for Ryazanskaya Transfer Hub in Moscow Underground, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.
The plant manufactured a range of 45 B2 and 60 B2 H-beams (strength grade: S255) for the project. The H-beams got shipped to the site through EVRAZ Metal Inprom over the course of ten months.
Now Ryazanskaya is going to become Europe’s largest hub, connecting Bolshaya Koltsevaya and Nekrasovskaya lines, Moscow Central Circle, and suburban commuter train lines. The first section of the hub is scheduled to open at the end of the year.
‘EVRAZ NTMK starts making new product varieties every year. The plant can now make over 300 types of H-beams that meet Russian and international standards,’ the press service says.
