Koltsovo Airport Gets Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A350 License

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 13, 2019. Koltsovo International Airport (a member of Regional Airports Association) is now Russia’s first airport outside of Moscow/Moscow Region and Saint Petersburg to get Rosaviation’s license to service Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A350, and their modified versions. The entry to this effect has been made in the airport’s Registration Certificate, the company’s press service reports.

‘Both aircraft belong to the wide-body, long-haul variety: Boeing 787 Dreamliner is big enough for 240 to 330 passengers and can cover the distance of up to 14,000 km. Airbus A350 is big enough for 336 passengers and can fly non-stop for over 18,000 km,’ the press service says.

According to the airport’s press service, Koltsovo Airport can now service nearly every type of passenger aircraft there is, including various makes of Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR, and other planes.
