Yekaterinburg to Get RUB 2bn for Road Repairs

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 6, 2019. Yekaterinburg and Nizhniy Tagil will get allocated considerable funds within the framework of the Safe, Good Quality Roads Project in 2020 and 2021. The decision was taken at Sverdlovsk Region Government’s latest meeting, Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department reports.
It was decided that Yekaterinburg would receive RUB 1bn in 2020 and RUB 1bn in 2021; Nizhniy Tagil will receive RUB 576m in 2020 and the same amount in 2021. The money will get directed to local road repairs.
Sverdlovsk Region Government believes this will help maintain the scale of road-building within the next two years at the same level as this year’s one.
