Ural Vagon Zavod Directs 24.6m to Schools

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 13, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant directed 24.6m RUR to support local schools as part of its corporate social responsibility program, the company press service reports.

Most of the money will be spent on remodeling and repairs, including 4m RUR for local kindergartens’ remodeling; also, Nizhniy Tagil Metal Treatment School and Nizhniy Tagil subsidiary of Ural Federal University will receive 3m RUR each.

Some 10m RUR will be distributed among twenty secondary schools in Nizhniy Tagil: Lyceum, Gymnasium 86, School 9, Lyceum 39, and School 39 will receive 700,000 RUR each, and Schools 7, 87, and 95 will receive 500,000 RUR each. The remaining twelve schools will be allocated 400,000 RUR each, and the same amount will be provided for the local children’s art studio. All these funds will be used for maintenance repairs and remodeling.
