Magnitogorsk To Host MMK Judo Cup on August 31-September 2

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, August 27, 2019. The All-Russian Viktor Pshenichnikov MMK Judo Cup Championship will take place at Ivan Romazan Culture Palace in Magnitogorsk on August 31-September 2, 2019. Eligible to compete are young men in the under-eighteen age group.
The event gets coordinated by Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK), Magnitogorsk Department of Physical Culture, Sports & Tourism, and Magnitogorsk Judo Federation.
‘The goal of the championship is to promote the development of judo as a sport and make it more popular and to help the participants gain some competition experience and improve their sports skills,’ says MMK’s Information & PR Department.
Eligible to compete are young men born in 2003, 2004, or 2005; there will compete in the following weight class categories: under 46 kg; 50 kg; 55 kg; 60 kg; 66 kg; 73 kg; 81 kg; 90 kg; and over 90 kg. The winner will get participation certificates, medals, and valuable prizes.
