UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 23, 2019. OOO FORES’s Sukhoi Log branch keeps monitoring noise level at production departments, the company’s press service reports.
‘The Ural Job Safety & Environment Center’s certified laboratory confirmed on August 8 that the daytime and nighttime noise levels next to the company’s Sukhoi Log plant do not exceed the current legal limits. The lab experts also gauged the noise levels on the border of the plant’s sanitary protection area, next to apartment buildings, and in the nearby collective gardening locations after midnight and at midday. A specially calibrated acoustic measuring device indicated that the sound coming from the equipment at work on production site at nighttime does not exceed the legal limit of 45 dB in all the three tested locations,’ the company says.
FORES says the noise grows stronger due to passing vehicles during the day; however, the overall noise level still stays within the daytime noise limit of 55dB.
OOO FORES and the Job Safety Scientific Research Institute completed the first stage of their long-term join project on reducing noise level at Sukhoi Log plant in June 2019. The institute experts gauged noise levels after new equipment had been installed on production site; according to their measurements, the noise level went down by 8 to 9 dB.
