UrBC, Chelyabinsk, August 21, 2019. ChelPipe Group’s oilfield service division Rimera coordinated Rimeriada 2019, the company’s amateur Olympics, in Chelyabinsk on August 14-16. More than 250 employees joined in.
Eight teams from Rimera’s member enterprises Alnas, Izhneftemash, the Group’s Moscow-based management company, and Rimera-Service’s branches in Nyagan, Noyabrsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Buguruslan, and Gubkinsky competed in the event.
The amateur sportsmen and women competed in six different categories: mini football, volleyball, street-ball, track-and-field, darts, and ping pong. The first prize went to Izhneftemash’s team with its gold in track-and-field, street-ball, and darts and bronze in ping pong and volleyball. The second prize went to Alnas’s team with its gold in volleyball, silver in street-ball, and bronze in track-and-field and darts. The third prize went to Rimera-Service-Nizhnevartovsk’s team with its gold in ping pong and silver in volleyball.
This year’s Rimeriada was dedicated to the synergy of sports and arts; the program of the event included Sport Art Biennale with a special art quest: the participants put together a pyramid (as high as a four-story building) from threads and bamboo sticks and created an installation from photographs reflecting the company’s values (Health, Reliability, Involvement, Creation, and Achievement). There was also a drummer’s show, some parkour activity, and an Olympics gymnastics performance.
This is the sixth time Rimeriada has taken place in Chelyabinsk.
