EVRAZ To Help Kachkanar Organize Hot Water Supply in Summer
23 April 2019 (09:19)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 23, 2019. EVRAZ Holding is going to help Kachkanar Council organize the hot water supply for the local end users in the summer, which is expected to ensure reliable supply even in the remotest parts of the town and improve the locals’ living standards, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Relations Center reports.
Kachkanar Heat & Power Station will switch to a new circulation scheme for its hot water supply system for ten days at the end of this heating season. Once these ten days are over, the hot water samples will get tested to check the water quality and gauge the volume of water delivered into the locals’ homes. If the experiment proves a success, the circulation scheme will become the power station’s default mode.
‘An ad hoc team set up at Mayor Andrei Yaroslavtsev’s initiative is working to design the optimal hot water/heating supply system for Kachkanar. The team comprises members of the town council, EVRAZ Holding’s energy engineers, and GorEnergo employees. Thanks to the team’s efforts, we identified the areas that need improvement. Last year, we had the supply to the southern parts of the town fixed; this year, we’ll focus on the supply in the northern part of Kachkanar,’ EVRAZ says.
The project on the hot water/heating supply system improvements in Kachkanar are now part of EVRAZ Holding and Kachkanar Council’s cooperation agreement.
