UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 24, 2016. Eight of EVRAZ Holding’s member enterprises based in Russia and Ukraine took part in the 5th International EVRAZ Cup Football Championship, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports.

The first prize went to EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works team, who beat EVRAZ Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise team in the finals.

The championship was held in Kachkanar on August 14-21. EVRAZ Vice President for Corporate Communications Vsevolod Sementsov, Sverdlovsk Region’s Sports Minister Leonid Rapoport, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s HR Director Andrei Yaroslavtsev, and Mayor of Kachkanar Sergei Nabokikh congratulated the winners on their achievement in the course of a solemn award ceremony.

‘Sports achievements unite our company teams while boosting some healthy competition spirit at the same time. This is the fifth time we are holding a football championship in Kachkanar, which has become a great trend for both the company and the town,’ says EVRAZ Vice President for Corporate Communications Vsevolod Sementsov.
