UBRD Marketing Director Among Russia’s Best Marketing Experts

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 8, 2019. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development’s Marketing Director Alexei Merzlyakov won the Best Marketing Expert award in the National Business Communication Prize contest; the solemn awarding ceremony took place in Moscow on April 4.
According to the bank’s press service, Merzlyakov won bronze in the Finance Sector. He is now also on the list of Russia’s best marketing experts that features acknowledged marketing leaders and the industry’s strongest experts with a great personal contribution to their companies’ development and outstanding business performance.
Among Merzlyakov’s major accomplishments in 2018 were expanding the share of digital channels for promotion of goods and services; improvements in advertising quality (as reported through customer feedback); rising net promoter score (NPS) and brand awareness; and an increase in per-customer profit.
‘I wouldn’t have been able to complete the projects resulting in this award without the concerted efforts of our entire team: our marketing, PR, and advertising experts, our sociologists, and our analysts. I am very happy to have brought these excellent professionals together at one bank,’ he said.
