UrBC, Chelyabinsk, March 28, 2019. A World Theatre Day concert hosted by ChelPipe Group will take place in M.I. Glinka Chelyabinsk State Academy Opera & Ballet Theater on March 27, 2019. The event gets coordinated and financed by members of the theater’s Board of Trustees and ChelPipe Group’s shareholders Alexander Fedorov and Andrei Komarov, the company’s press service reports.
The concert program includes Konstantin Raikin’s one-man show Heaven Above the Chaos and a performance of the French composer Louis-Hector Berlioz’s works by Tatarstan’s State Symphony Orchestra (Art Director/Principal Conductor: People’s Artist of Russia Alexander Sladkovsky).
‘ChelPipe Group sees it as particularly symbolic that the year 2019 is the Year of The Theater in Russia. For many years, the company has been contributing to a number of charity and social projects to promote culture and arts, help preserve spiritual and moral values, and support talented children and young adults in the towns where the Group operates its member enterprises. Snezhnost Festival, Children’s Singing School, and regular classical music concerts with the globally renowned performers that are open to the general public are some of the largest-scale events we support. With all my heart, I congratulate the theater workers on their day. I’m confident that a night spent with Konstantin Raikin and the symphony orchestra will leave every member of the audience inspired and deeply moved,’ says ChelPipe Group’s shareholder and Chair of the theater’s Board of Trustees Andrei Komarov.
