ChelPipe Group-Supported Children’s Singing School Begin New Season

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, September 12, 2019. New season began at Children’s Signing School at M.I. Glinka Chelyabinsk State Academy Opera & Ballet Theater; the school was set up at the initiative of ChelPipe Group’s shareholders Alexander Fedorov and Andrei Komarov, the company’s press service reports.
62 young performers in the 6-17 age group are now busy rehearsing and attending their choreography, singing, acting, and speech training classes with Russia’s Honored Artist Boris Kaplun and other experienced teachers, directors, choreographers, and musicians. Thanks to ChelPipe Group’s support, all classes are free of charge for the students.
This new season, students at Children’s Signing School will be able to perform on stage alongside professionals actors, take part in a series of creative projects and Chelyabinsk Opera & Ballet Theater’s road tours, perform at culture events in Chelyabinsk, compete in international contests, and present their work at ChelPipe Group’s Snezhnost Charity Theater Festival.
According to the Group’s press service, starting this year, the students will also be able to complete their elementary music education at P.I. Tchaikovsky South Ural Music Institute’s Special Children’s Art School. This is now possible thanks to an agreement Chelyabinsk Opera & Ballet Theater’s Board of Trustees (chaired by Andrei Komarov) signed with Chelyabinsk Region’s Culture Ministry.
