19 March 2019 (09:30)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 19, 2019. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development’s Retail Product Director Evgeny Shitikov was among the winners of the all-Russian Russia’s Leaders Contest for managers; the names of the 104 winners got announced in Sochi on March 17, the bank’s press service reports.
The local rounds of the competition took place in all of the country’s federal districts in January and February 2019; following these rounds, all the contestants had to implement the social projects they had presented. As a result, three hundred people made it to the final round, with 104 finalists, including Evgeny Shitikov, selected as the contest winners.
‘This was a rather difficult but also a very interesting competition that helped me get invaluable feedback on my strengths and weaknesses. I’m confident the new experience, expertise, and guidelines will now facilitate my performance at the UBRD, including, among other things, my work on Happy Customer, our company strategy. In fact, I see a fresh take on the needs of the people we all work for — our customers — as one of my primary personal achievements within the contest process,’ Shitikov says.
Evgeny Shitikov came to work for the Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development nearly two months ago. He is now in charge of developing and launching all of the bank’s retail products and services.
Now another UBRD representative, the bank’s E-Business Development Director Denis Tur, also won Russia’s Leaders Contest in 2018.
