EVRAZ NTMK, EVRAZ VGOK: 100 Women Get Awards on International Women’s Day

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 11, 2019. Best women workers got awarded at EVRAZ Holding’s EVRAZ Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ NTMK) and Kachkanarsky Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise (EVRAZ KGOK), on International Women’s Day, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Relations Center reports.
The two plants’ Managing Director Alexei Kushnarev and Chair of EVRAZ NTMK Trade Union Vladimir Radayev distributed the prizes and thank-you letters in the course of an awarding ceremony.
EVRAZ NTMK’s most prestigious award for women, the First Woman Furnace Attendant Faina Sharunova Prize, gets awarded to the plant’s ten best women workers every year. This year, the prize went to the thawing-out unit operator from the plant’s Coke and By-Product Processing Department Tamara Stolyarova; hand moulding coremaker from the plant’s Casting Department Olga Bukrina; ladle operator from the plant’s Blast Furnace Department Zinaida Bushuyeva; water treatment technician from the plant’s heat and power station Irina Nuzhdova; inspection engineer at Tech Control section of the plant’s ferrous metal facilities Lyubov Rudenko; crane operators from the plant’s Wheel Band Department, Converter Department, Rail and Beam Department, and Railway Vehicles Department Oksana Amosova, Tatyana Chuvashova, Larisa Timakova, and Lyudmila Bakhareva; and engineer from the plant’s Engineering Supervision section Tatyana Shamporova.
All the prize-winners received a badge of honor, a money prize (RUB 20,000), and a 20% increase in their monthly pay for the rest of 2019.
