UrBC, Chelyabinsk, January 23, 2019. ChelPipe Group and the All-Russian National Military Patriotic Social Movement Association (Yunarmiya) signed a cooperation agreement. The paper was signed by the Group’s Director-General Boris Kovalenkov and Head of Yunarmiya’s HQ, Hero of Russia, space pilot Roman Romanenko.
According to the Group’s press service, the goal is to work together on the initiatives in the field of military training and patriotic values courses for children and teenagers, support physical education and sports projects, and promote and popularize the idea of the Russian Army service as a prestigious choice. The key objectives are to design training materials and educational programs, support job counseling programs in the metallurgical sector in the parts of Russia where the Group operates, and to aid talented children and young adults.
‘ChelPipe Group is already cooperating with the Defense Ministry as part of our Future of White-Coated Metallurgy Corporate Training Program, where our future employees move on from secondary school to vocational school, do their army terms and then come to work at our plants. The program alumni serve their army terms in ChelPipe Group-supported regiments and stay in touch with the company. An agreement with Yunarmiya is yet another way for us to cooperate with the MoD, encourage children and teens’ interest in military and technological fields of knowledge, and help instill civic and patriotic values in the younger generations,’ says the Group’s Director-General Boris Kovalenkov.
Roman Romanenko, in his turn, said the agreement signified a new step Yunarmiya was making towards higher efficiency.
‘We see ChelPipe Group as our key strategic partner. I hope this friendship will only be growing stronger with every coming year,’ he said.
