87% of Russians See AI As Turkey’s USP

UrBC, Moscow, August 29, 2018. The majority of Russians who contributed to a recent opinion survey (87%) said they would have to reconsider vacationing in Turkey if the country gave up on its all-inclusive meal and entertainment options, OneTwoTrip’s press service refers to the company’s survey findings as indicating.

67% of respondents explained they would have to start price-comparing Turkey with other countries for the best value for money offers. Another 20% said they would stop going to Turkey for their vacations altogether if the AI options were no longer available at hotels.

Now the news came out last week that Turkey was considering either reducing the number of AI-friendly hotels or giving up on the option entirely so that international visitors would spend more money while in the country.

The survey findings indicate, however, that 91% of tourists choose this exact option and hardly ever go for other meal plans: 3% of those surveyed reported their last hotel stay covered bed and breakfast, another 3% said they had breakfasts and dinners included, 2% booked full-board options, and 1% chose no-meal options.

51% of respondents explained that highly predictable costs/spending patterns were the AI-friendly hotel stays’ primary competitive advantage.
