12 April 2018 (09:18)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 12, 2018. A unique photo project dedicated to the history of Russian kopeck coins opened in Yekaterinburg’s pedestrian area in Vainer St. The exhibition gets coordinated by SKB-Bank and presents the history of Russian coins from the first 16th century kopecks to their modern counterparts.

‘The photo project informs the public about Russia’s oldest small coin. You’ll learn what the kopeck looked like hundreds of years ago, what it was made of, and what a few kopecks could buy under Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, and Catherine the Great, and during the Soviet era,’ SKB-Bank’s press service reports.

SKB-Bank’s Andrei Yermolenko is the project’s author and copywriter; the layout setting and design was done by Ksenia Orlova from the ad agency @pervoeklientskoe.

The open-air gallery is open in Vainer St 24/7. To get a view online, please visit SKB-Bank’s website.
