ChTPZ Group Adopts Leadership Program

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 2, 2017. ChTPZ Group and MISIS Moscow University of Science & Technology are now implementing a leadership program together, based on the university’s master degree programs, the company press service reports.

The program involves studying at the college, working at the Group’s Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, and contributing to innovative developments. Students can major either in Metallurgy or in Technological Machines & Equipment.

The company is interested in young, talented workers who are prepared to operate innovative equipment on a hi tech production site and thus offers its future employees a wide range of educational and professional development opportunities. The Leadership program alumni will be offered jobs at the company and the prospect of a great career,’ says ChTPZ Group’s HR Director Svetlana Kuzminykh.

This year, eight students who got enrolled to MISIS master degree programs have also joined the project. Their two-year Leadership Program will involve learning about the rolling goods production technologies as well as about innovative equipment for making solid and hollow metallurgical goods; the students will also get engaged in the Group’s actual production tasks and will produce an MSc thesis at the end. They will be offered a two-year contract at one of the Group’s enterprises in Yekaterinburg or Chelyabinsk.
